I am a chemistry major at Louisiana State University.  Unlike many college students I am paying for my own tuition.  I made it fine my freshman year but I ran into some trouble the right before I started my sophomore year.  I calculated that I was just under $2000 short from making my tuition payment this fall.  I didn’t know what I was going to do and I certainly didn’t want to take a half semester.
